Create a Folder
In this example, we will create a folder named My Files.
Step 1: Click the + (plus) dropdown menu
Select Create Folder.
Step 2: You can also right-click into the white space and select Create Folder.
Step 3: Enter a name for the folder and press enter.
Step 4: You will now see your newly created folder.
Folders are arranged in alphabetical order.
Step 5: To enter a folder, place your mouse over the folder icon. Once it turns purple, click into it.
Step 6: To exit a folder, and return to the previous level, click the Up a Level icon.
Step 7: You can also click the Toggle Tree View icon to show the left panel to display all your folders.
From here, you can click into any of your folders.
Upload a Folder
In this example, we will upload a folder named My Files.
To upload entire folders to eBox, simply drag and drop folders from your computer into the File Browser.
Please be aware of the limitations of your own network's bandwidth (upload speed especially) when uploading folders containing very large amounts of data.
Delete a Folder
In this example, we will delete a folder named My Files.
Step 1: Right-click on the folder that you want to delete.
Select Edit, then select Delete.
Step 2: At this prompt, click yes.
Rename a Folder
In this example, we will rename a folder named My Files to My Files 2.
Step 1: Right-click the folder you want to rename.
Select Edit, then select Rename.
Step 2: You can also click into the white space inside the square
Then click on the folder name.
Step 3: Type in a new name for the file and press enter.
Your folder has been renamed:
In this example, we will copy and paste the My Files folder.
Step 1: Right-click the folder you want to copy.
Step 2: Right-click into the white space and select Paste.
Step 3: A copy of the folder and its contents will be created.
Download Folders to Your Computer
In this example, we will download the My Files folder to your computer.
Step 1: Right-click the folder you want to download
Step 2: Select Download, then select Download again
A ZIP file will be created and downloaded to your computer.
Using Shortcuts in the Main Menu
In this example, we will show you shortcuts in the main menu.
Step 1: Click the white space inside the square box, outside of the folder.
Step 2: Shortcut icons will appear in the main menu for Delete, Download, Copy, and Cut.
