If you encounter an error when uploading a file or folder to an email message, check these guidelines first:
- Use the Attach Files button instead of dragging and dropping files and folders into the email message body.
- Please make sure that your files or folders do not contain the following incompatible characters: \ / : * ? “ < > |
- For large files, try using the Secure File Link tool instead.
- Make sure your bandwidth is good enough to support uploading large/many files.
Contact our support team if your file/folder does not contain those characters but is still failing to upload properly. Along with a description of the error (and a screen shot if that is relevant) let us know the file size, file name (including extension), and the upload speed you are working with. If you are using a mail client (Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird) or any other software to upload the message, provide the name of the software and the version you are on.
