Devices Disconnected from Wifi
If your iPhone / iPad has been working but all of a sudden is unable to connect to our server, first make sure you have a good wifi connection. You can check if your internet is active and not "down" by trying to go online with another device or computer nearby, or you can open up Safari on your device and try going to a web page you do not frequent. For example, you can try going to enguard.com to see if it loads our website homepage.
Devices Disconnected from Mobile Networks
If you are on 3G/4G, sometimes when you are moving around and changing cell towers, you may lose connection to our servers. Moving to a spot with a stronger signal should re-establish a new connection to our server.
Still not reconnecting?
Your device is a mini computer, so sometimes it will need to be rebooted and/or updated.
Reboot: Tap the home button twice to bring up all active apps, then hold down an app until they all wiggle. You should see a red "-" icon appear. Tap the red "-" in the left corner to close down all your active apps. Once you are done closing all active apps, tap the home button again to return to the home screen. Power down your device and wait for it to turn off completely. After 10 seconds, turn it back on. 99% of the time this will resolve any internet connection issues. If your device notifies you of a pending iOS update upon restart, please allow the device to update ASAP.
Update: You can also manually check for pending iOS updates that you may have postponed or skipped. In the iPhone / iPad General Settings, under About, you will see a Software Update option. Tap Software Update to see if there is a new version or patch available, and tap Install Now. We recommend being connected to strong WiFi during iOS updates, if possible.
