Replace Exchange ActiveSync in Outlook 2013

EnGuard previously provided Exchange ActiveSync for Outlook 2013 to synchronize email, calendar, contacts, and tasks to our Webmail and your Mobile Device for Plan Three customers.

Microsoft has officially removed Exchange ActiveSync support in all versions of Outlook: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2859522/outlook-does-not-support-connections-to-exchange-by-using-activesync

If you are currently connected via Exchange ActiveSync with Outlook 2013, it has stopped working. We have replaced Exchange ActiveSync with our new Outlook Sync feature, however it only works with Outlook 2019 / Microsoft 365 and Outlook 2016. You will need to upgrade your Office 2013 installation to the latest version in order to use the Outlook Sync feature.

You may continue to use Outlook 2013 with IMAP email or you can switch to using our Webmail. All your calendar, contacts, and tasks will remain in our Webmail and can be synced to the latest version of Outlook via the new Outlook Sync feature whenever you decide to upgrade.

This tutorial will show you how to add an IMAP Email Account and remove the Exchange ActiveSync Account from Outlook.
