To help protect your email account, EnGuard blocks a list of commonly used passwords that have shown up repeatedly in public data breaches. If a password you try to set matches one of these, or is close enough that a hacker's automated tools would guess it in seconds, you will be asked to choose a different one.
This is not a limit on password length or character requirements. It is a targeted block on passwords that are already known to attackers. Even if one of these meets your account's complexity requirements (uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols), it is still unsafe to use because it is one of the first passwords automated attacks try.
The block is not case sensitive. For example, admin, Admin, and ADMIN are all blocked, as are p@ssw0rd, P@ssw0rd, and P@SSW0RD.
