This tutorial will show you how to enable Multi-Factor Authentication for your control panel account.
When your account is protected with Multi-Factor Authentication, logging into our Control Panel requires two methods of authentication: your control panel account password and a verification code that's only available to you.
Step 1: Click Edit Account Details at the top right
Step 2: Make sure your email address is up to date. We recommend using your EnGuard email address always for security.
Check the box for Enable MFA
Click Update
Step 3: The next time you login, our system will email a verification code to you (it may take up to 30 seconds)
Enter your verification code
Click Login
Step 4: To disable Multi-Factor Authentication, repeat step 1 above
Uncheck Enable MFA
Click Update
