This tutorial will show you how to enable and disable Mobile Sync and Desktop Sync.
Mobile Sync allows for Exchange type installations into mobile devices, while Desktop Sync allows for Exchange type installations into Microsoft Outlook and Apple Mail. Exchange type installations can sync contacts and calendars between the webmail and these applications, in addition to email syncing.
These features are not available on all email plans. If you do not see the options in step 1 below, you do not have these features on your plan, and can only install as IMAP (email-only) into these applications.
Next to your domain name under Your Active Products/Services, click Manage
Step 1: Click on Manage Mobile Sync or Manage Desktop Sync
Step 2: Note your license count and usage. If you are on our Enterprise Plan, you will always have enough licenses to apply to all users. If you are on a lower plan and have a Mobile Sync license Add-On, you will see how many you have available here.
Step 3: Check the box next to the users you wish to enable the Sync feature for. You can use the Check All and Uncheck All options to quickly select many.
Step 4: Click Save Changes
